Setting up call forwarding

Overview

Call forwarding sends your business line to Josh while you keep your own number. You set this up once with your phone carrier.

Step by step

  1. Copy your Josh number from Integrations or Settings.
  2. In your carrier or phone settings, turn on call forwarding to that number.
  3. Choose always forward, or forward when busy / no answer if you want to try your own line first.
  4. Call your business number from another phone to test it.
  5. Confirm forwarding shows Active in your dashboard.
Good to know — Many carriers use a code like *72 to turn forwarding on and *73 to turn it off. Your number stays yours the whole time.
