The accelerants

For inspectors who want more leads, faster.

That’s where the name comes from. The four engines grow the business you already have. An accelerant goes out and finds people who’ve never heard of you — in a town you don’t cover, in searches you don’t show up in, through ads nobody is running for you.

The engines work perfectly well on their own, and plenty of inspectors never add a thing. These are here for the ones who want to push.

Before you read the list

Should you buy one?

Here’s the short version.

Need more leads? Get an accelerant.

Want to lean less on agents? Get an accelerant.

Want both? Get two. There’s no limit, no order you have to buy them in, and no package you have to take.

But if you just need ten more inspections a month to fill up your schedule, hold off. Give the four engines a few months first and see where you land. They may get you there on their own — and if they do, you’ve saved yourself the money.

The four engines work on what you’ve already got: your past clients, the agents who know you, the calls coming in now. An accelerant goes out and finds people who’ve never heard of you. Different jobs, and you’ll know which one you need.

If you only ever buy one

Which one would we start with?

Paid ads. But only because Josh is the one answering them.

Most inspectors don’t have a problem closing. Get her on the phone and you’ll book her — you’ve been doing that for years and you’re good at it.

The trouble isn’t what you say when she calls. It’s that the phone doesn’t ring enough.

Why it didn’t work last time

Plenty of inspectors have tried ads and given up on them. Here’s how that usually goes. The ads did their job. The phone rang. He was under a house. She didn’t leave a message, and she called somebody else that afternoon.

He never found out the ad had worked. All he saw was money going out and no jobs coming back, so he switched them off and told the next inspector who asked that ads don’t work.

Why it’s different here

Josh answers every call the ads bring in, at any hour of the day or night. She rings at two in the morning off an ad and he prices it, books it and sends the agreement before she’s gone back to sleep.

The ad gets her to call. Josh makes sure the call turns into a job. Neither half is worth much without the other.

Running ads without somebody answering is buying voicemail.

And it starts working in days, not seasons.

Everything else on this page takes time. Reviews build up. Agents warm up. Search takes a couple of months to move in a quieter market and longer in a competitive one.

Ads don’t work like that. They’re running within days of setup, while the slower things are still getting started. Whether they work in your market is a question only your market can answer — but waiting months to find out isn’t part of it.

And you watch it on your own screen.

Once the accelerant is running, an ads view turns up in your Business Center. What’s been spent, what came in, and which of your calls came from the ads rather than from somewhere else. You don’t have to take our word for how it’s going, and you don’t have to ask anybody.

Three things said plainly. Ad spend is billed to you directly by Google — that money never touches us and we take no share of it. We charge a management fee for running the program, agreed with you before anything starts, and that fee is the only thing we take. And some part of any ad budget gets wasted; anybody telling you otherwise is selling you something. What we do is keep that share small and make sure every call it produces reaches somebody who answers.

Six of them

Find the sentence that sounds like you.

Every one of these is optional, priced separately, and cancellable on the same terms as everything else.

Accelerant one

“I want leads this month, not in six.”

See how it works →

Accelerant two

“I want to show up when somebody searches my town.”

See how it works →

Accelerant three

“My website is a brochure that does nothing.”

See how it works →

Accelerant four

“I want work in towns I don’t cover yet.”

See how it works →

Accelerant five

“I want a proper newsletter, not just a reminder.”

See how it works →

Accelerant six

“I want to be the name people already know.”

One more, and it works the other way round

Your clients already ask you who to call. You’re already answering for free.

The Homeowners’ Complete Resource Directory turns that into something better for her and worth something to you — a proper directory on your own website, every business approved by you, paying an advertising fee for the placement.

Straight talk

What none of them come with.

Every accelerant on this page is a way of getting in front of more people. Not one of them is a promise about what happens next.

No guaranteed outcome, on any of them

No ranking, no traffic figure, no volume of calls, no cost per lead, no return on ad spend. Anybody selling you those numbers is guessing, and we’d rather say so than compete on a guess.

Google and the ad networks do as they please

Profiles get suspended, ad accounts get reviewed, auction prices move, competitors turn up. We’ll help you sort out what can be sorted, but nobody controls those platforms.

They can’t carry a business that isn’t working

More people in front of your business is only good news if the business is good. Accelerants multiply what’s already there, in whichever direction it’s already pointing.

And you can stop them

Same terms as everything else. Month to month, thirty days’ notice, no penalty. Stopping an accelerant doesn’t touch the four engines.

Not sure which one

Ask Parker. He’ll tell you if the answer is none of them.

He’s open on this page right now, waiting. He knows what each of these does, what it costs, and who it isn’t for — and he won’t take your number and have somebody ring you.

Already know what you want?
